Probably Joel Meyerowitz. Anything I've seen him say just makes me look up to him as a person. He seems very down to earth, insightful, and full of knowledge that only comes with age and a shaved head. Actually, I'm pretty confident about than answer. I've been so shocked at how down to earth he seems in every interview. I admire him as a person before being an artist. That's a huge deal for me.
That's kinda crazy, because he would be my answer too. He is so much braver with his camera than I am, and I believe I could learn a ton from him. My other answer would be Brady, during the Civil War.

If you could spend a week shadowing a single photographer, either contemporary or from the past, who would it be and why?
