I feel the opposite. I need the city.

A constant question: Would I rather live in nature and visit the city, or live in the city and visit nature?

Live in the city and visit nature. Because eating pizza seven times a week isn't as good as eating it once every couple of weeks, you know? so I would rather have nature as my escape. Because I've never felt like I "escaped" to New York City or Chicago or anything.

Visiting a "real city" gets me so hyped. The energy in big cities is incredible!

first few months of living in the city will drive you nuts.

i.e. the original reason i left chicago and went to wis. with sean.

best thing to do:
take the metra out as far as it will go.

Also, there are forest reserves around chicago.. i think you might be able to take the train out to 'em/it. might be something worth looking into
