I visited the post office today to query them about my missing package. They reassured me that it would come in today. I hope it does. $1000 is a lot of money but it doesn't cover the images I had exposed. I knew I should have carried that exposed film as a carry on.

I got a sick computer desk today. I also got a mattress. I didn't blacklight it before I bought it but I'm trustworthy (and broke) and I had no choice.

Moving is a challenge. I've started keeping track of my finances and if you write it down you really see the money just going out the window. But film is more important than food and my working Pentax would be a blessing. Oh, and 4x5 film. Cannot do without it. I realized I haven't shot my 4x5 nearly as much as I would like. Partly because I could not get my film processed in Huntsville. Now with Precision three blocks away I have no choice but to shoot my ass off.

Listening to the Department of Eagles. I've also been playing Merriweather Post Pavilion non-stop in front of Lykke Li.

Animal Collective is playing here in Chicago on my birthday (January 22nd) but obviously it was sold out within 10 minutes.
