Interesting.

One exposure of two.

Chosen! "Worker at Quarry"

One exposure of two.

I asked Kenny the Tree Surgeon if I could photograph his log splitter. He said yes and this was the first shot I got of him while he was still working.

Chosen! "Man"

Then he stopped splitting and I asked to make another picture of him standing up.

I don't normally shoot multiple shots of a subject. I don't really know why. I don't think it's "cheap" to shoot more than one for getting the right exposure, etc. I have no clue to be honest. I just don't normally shoot more than one frame. But seeing these shots is so great. It's like a piece of the puzzle. Another frame added to the stop motion film of "Worker At Quarry" or "Man"

adhering to absolutes while making your work is not such a hot idea.

Never have I don't think. I was actually trying to find a couple other examples of this in my negatives. I'm sure there are plenty. I just usually go with it. If I need to shoot another frame I do, if I don't feel it, I don't.

I didn't mean to make it sound like I stuck to one plan.
