Nashville.

I was excited to see that Greg Miller had updated his site with not only new work but news that he had received a Guggenheim Fellowship. I could only imagine how that feels. I sent this work to Caroline Allison and she was finally relieved to know who she had seen strolling the streets of Nashville with a large format camera. I found that quite funny. I would have been loosing sleep trying to figure out who it was.

I felt very attracted to this work after living in Nashville for a year. It's exciting to have a practicing artist hitting so close to home. I'm star struck. Here are some of my favorite images.
