These photos of a sulfuric acid and copper mining plant in Copperhill, TN were shot by Marion Wolcott in 1939.

Whats really great about this to me is I've been to copper hill countless times since its about 30 minutes away from my town. The plant still towers over the town but no longer mines anything I believe.
